Conflict & SuspensePlot & Structure and Revision & Self-editing - All of James Scott Bell's books are excellent - great relevant content, well organized and effectively presented

 

 

Rivet Your Reader with Deep Point of View by Jill Elizabeth Nelson - very short - ~60 pages - great content, direct and to the point with lots of examples

 

 

 

 

 

Plot versus Character by Jeff Goerke - well presented, organized

 

 

 

 

Writing 21st Century Fiction by Donald Maass - Once you've got the basics down, this book has lots of really great content on taking your writing to the next level.
