Brooks, a young high school senior and fellow classmate of my daughter’s was enrolled in the same college level Biology course at Cornerstone University. When he heard their professor, a favorite among the students, was retiring at the end of the semester, Brooks took the initiative to pool together his classmates and get the teacher a thoughtful gift. Everyone signed the card and was there with a grateful heart for its presentation on the last day of class.

The professor was so moved by the students’ show of appreciation that he went to the high school and with tears in his eyes, personally thanked the principal and staff, letting them know what an amazing job they were doing in raising up a fine group of young Christians, a generation unafraid to reach out to others.
